What we do
Today many people have realised that chiropractic care is similar to other routine preventative measures such as dental cleanings, optometric exams, periodic blood analysis, and physical exams. They recognise the spine and the critical nerve impulses it protects are just as important as the other parts of the body.
Accordingly, people now understand that visiting a chiropractor on a regular basis is a vital component of a healthy lifestyle.
People who receive regular care have reported many benefits including pain relief, increased energy, and more restful sleep. These benefits combine with a balanced lifestyle to promote wellness and longevity.
What to expect when you first see us
Consultation- This visit is designed so that you will meet with Dr Taare to discuss your health concerns, your expectations, and whether or not chiropractic may be for you.
Examination- Dr Taare will perform a series of chiropractic tests. Nothing will be done without your consent.
X-ray- If clinically necessary x-rays of your spine will be taken. This will help to rule out pathologies and anomalies, as well as to allow Dr Taare to analyse and adjust your spine in a precise and gentle manner. If your visit is the result of an accident or injury you may be entilted to have ACC subsidise the x-ray.
Report of Findings- Your case will have been reviewed by Dr Taare. He will then explain in easy to understand "laymans" terms a summary of what has been found and how he may be able to help you. He will also propose the best schedule of care for you. You will be able to ask questions and we don't mind if you bring along a support person for this visit.
